LoSoMo Has a New Look, New Name
Today, we announced in an email to our clients that LoSoMo has a new look and a NEW name – ModernMarca. We’re still the same nerdy and proud team that has served you for years, but we’re rolling out a fresh, new look and exciting new services to better serve you, our clients.
We are excited to share these brand updates, and why we decided to make them.
What’s changed and what hasn’t:
We’ve updated our logo, typeface, colors, and imagery to better reflect our new brand identity. We’ve also grown from “LoSoMo” to “ModernMarca” which means “ModernBrand” in Spanish.
Our original name began as a tribute to our specialty in the local search niche and stood for local, social and mobile. These days we do so much more, and now our new brand name stands for more than the sum of its parts.
Aside from a new brand look and additional services, our team is still the same team that has been serving great people and great companies for the last 4.5 years. We are still digital marketing experts and we still help our clients continuously crush their goals. Most importantly, we hold the same company values today that we did yesterday:

Since the beginning, meaningful execution has been a core part of our work. In fact, our founder, Veronica Romney, frequently reminds us that:

This is part of what has always made us different, and it’s in everything we do. We’ve got it, so you can rest easy.
But with so many competitors, influencers, thought leaders, so-called “experts” entering the marketplace by the hour, over time we found that parts of our execution weren’t living up to their fullest potential. We realized that we had essentially put the “cart before the horse” by focusing so much on marketing that we neglected the branding side. After all, marketing an underdeveloped brand only creates more noise in the market. We don’t believe in being noisemakers. We believe in being genuine contributors in the lives of those we are meant to serve and support.
Staying true to ourselves
With this rebrand and redesign, we have set out to retain the quality of our services and lovable aspects of who we are while creating new space for our mission to grow and help more people and more companies become modern success stories. We haven’t lost our roots or purpose. Instead, we have fully realized our own brand, our story, our purpose and now we are on a mission to help you, the client, realize your greatest potential as well.

We should never position ourselves as the hero in our clients’ stories – because they are. It’s time we help those we are meant to serve in the way they want to be supported. Hence, our rebrand.
